The Chrysler Pacifica has many new and innovative features. One of the most interesting is that they don't have a traditional jack in the vehicle, rather it comes with an electric drive power liftgate. The rear seats also recline for more comfortable seating when you need to take a nap on long trips!
However, like most new technology, there are some limitations. This means that you can't use the electric liftgate to lower your spare tire after you have changed a flat tire. If you attempted to operate the power liftgate or any of the buttons on it while the vehicle was in this mode, they wouldn't work. The liftgate would close but it wouldn't stay down, unless you hold the button for a few seconds.
The same goes with the power liftgate release on the door of the vehicle – you can't use it to open or close your spare tire. It will just retract back into place and not move at all until you exit from this mode.
