
According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, IIHS, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, NHTSA, it is safe to dive the Jeep Compass. The SUV has received impressive safety ratings for many years in a row.
The IIHS rated the 2020 Jeep compass “Good” for side impact, rear crash, roof strength, small overlap front passenger protection, and small overlap driver protection. The institution further rated the car superior for front crash prevention and marginal for headlights efficiency.
NHTSA gave the car an overall rating of four-star rating out of five. It received a five-star rating for side crash, four-star rating for frontal crash, and three-star rating for rollover.
