The North American International Auto Show is set to begin next week in Detroit and today we are here with a little preview of one of the vehicles that is expected to be revealed during the show. Fans of new Dodge vehicles know that just about every model in the lineup has had a special "Blacktop" edition come to market at some point. Now the iconic American automaker will round out the Blacktop line by applying this unique styling to one of the newest members of the family.If you haven't already guessed, we are talking about the Dodge Dart. This spunky little sedan has had a whirlwind year since being introduced and we think that adding this dashing new edition will be a great way to start off the 2014 model year.
For those that don't know, a Blacktop edition usually takes the standard issue model and adds glossy black appointments to the exterior and interior to give it a more fierce and sexy look. We can't wait to see what the new Dart looks like especially since it has been hyped by the Dodge CEO.
Tim Kuniskis is the President and CEO of Dodge, and he spoke about the big reveal set for Detroit, saying, "The Blacktops have become a signature of sorts for the Dodge Brand. With the addition of the Blacktop package for the Dodge Dart, we're adding to our line-up of vehicles that offer the more aggressive look that has become so popular with our customers."1
