Customers that stop into our Warwick Dodge dealership have always sought out the Durango for its capabilities as well as its rugged appeal. While the 2014 Dodge Durango certainly isn't straying from its bread and butter, it has brought a new look and a few new options to the table this year.

The first addition that you'll spot is the new front fascia with an updated grille and tweaked headlight design. Throwing in a sleeker shape Dodge has given us an SUV with a sportier feel. The word on the web is that this track-tailored look is part of an overall move for the brand across the entire lineup. The Durango is one of the first to feature the facelift, but we should see more and more models following suit soon.

Much to our delight, under the hood you'll find the same options that we've come to love. You can select either a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that turns out 290-hp and 260 lb-ft of torque which is plenty of power for your average SUV driver. However, if you're going to be towing from time to time you can upgrade to the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 for 360-hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. That being said, the powertrain isn't completely untouched as we've got an all-new eight speed transmission mated to that V6.

The interior has been touched up quite a bit, too, but we have to leave something to the imagination. So stop by our Warwick, RI showroom and our Bald Hill Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram sales staff can give you the full tour.
