It's the most awarded SUV ever, and that Jeep® brand distinction just got another big boost from the New England Motor Press Association (NEMPA). This week NEMPA singled out not only the Jeep brand, but the man who heads it up … for three of its most prestigious awards.

"During Mike Manley's tenure," said NEMPA President Keith Griffin, "Jeep has enjoyed a renaissance applauded by both consumers - with ever-increasing sales - and by automotive writers, who have heaped awards upon the Grand Cherokee."
New England winters are legendary for some of the most rugged winter driving conditions in the country. Over the past three years, customers in six New England states have challenged all that Mother Nature dished out with the Jeep brand's legendary capability, driving Jeep brand sales up 71% overall for the period. Sales of Jeep Grand Cherokee for the same 2010-2012 period nearly doubled in the region to 94%.
In a nod to the Grand Cherokee's outstanding ability to handle the best and the worst while offering true on-and-off road comfort, luxury and sophistication, NEMPA journalists singled out the Jeep Grand Cherokee as "Official Winter Vehicle of New England" for the third year in a row.
The NEMPA event also demonstrated the Jeep brand's heritage runs deep as the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee was singled out for the Wheels TV" Previously Owned Vehicle of the Year" award.
And, the 2013 Ram 1500 4x4 picked up the NEMPA award for "Best All-Weather Pickup Truck.Read More.
