The last time we here at Bald Hill Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM were writing to you about the 2013 Dodge Dart, it was getting a sharp new makeover from the folks over at Mopar. And as much as that made us want to break out our wallets right there and then, the fact of the matter is that it's not always that simple to invest in a new or used car.

Unless you're being featured on My Super Sweet 16, there are a lot of costs to consider when you sit down with the car financing wizards at our dealership. Well now that Dodge has taken a page from the Kickstarter playbook, paying for your new Dart just got a whole lot more manageable.

For those unfamiliar, Kickstarter is a crowdsourcing website where artists and inventors of all shapes and sizes can finance their passion projects into realities by pitching it to the masses. If the masses want to support it, they can contribute as much money as they want to in order to help the said project reach its financial goal.

The way it works with Dodge is that, first, you go on their website and design your 2013 Dart just the way you want it. At which point, it tallies up how much each part the car will cost from top to bottom. Then, you spread the word to your family and friends with the hope that their generosity will kick in. If that happens to be the case, then grandma will pay for the hood, mom and dad will pay for the wheels, your best friend Cornelius will treat you to the headlights, and so on and so forth until your new Dodge Dart is paid for in full.

It's like a wedding registry without the wedding (or better yet, the best wedding registry ever).

If you'd like to learn more about what the 2013 Dart has to offer or if you just need pointers about putting one together, then stop by our parts department today down here at 1035 Bald Hill Rd. in Warwick, RI 02886. Just don't ask us to chip in some dough.
