For all that we here at Bald Hill Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM can appreciate the benefits of compromise when it comes to relationships and politics, compromise is for the birds when it comes to our new and used cars. After all, you shouldn't have to compromise on quality on one of the biggest purchases on your life, and that's exactly the kind of thinking that went into the design of the 2013 Dodge Durango.
From one year to the next, this beauty has kept on impressing us in more ways than we can count. And now that next year's model has been unveiled at the 2013 New York Auto Show, the adoration has only grown.
Needless to say, the 2014 Dodge Durango has been a long time coming.
"When the Durango was first launched in 1998, it represented a breakthrough in power, size and style," says Reid Bigland, President and CEO of Dodge. "Now for 2014, we're upping the ante by making it our most technologically advanced, fuel-efficient and dramatically styled Durango ever. With countless class-exclusive features and best-in-class attributes, the new 2014 Durango represents the ultimate no-compromise full-size SUV."1
In case you weren't there to see it in the metal, the 2014 Dodge Durango is a significantly-updated beast of a hatchback that's got attitude and style to spare. Inside, you've got room for seven and an 8.4-inch touchscreen housing a Uconnect infotainment system. Outside, you've got a redesigned rear fascia and some LED "racetrack" taillamps to boot. And under the hood, you've got a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that gets up to 290 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque.
It goes without saying that these are just a few of the many head-turning additions that next year's model has in store, so if you'd like to learn more, feel free to swing by the experts at our car parts department here in Warwick, RI for a full report. Take it from us: you won't be disappointed.
