For the past few years now, the gearheads over at Mopar have been awfully fond of our Dodge and Chrysler models here at Bald Hill Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM. Back in 2010, they blew our minds with a custom Dodge Challenger; then they followed it up with a limited-edition Dodge Charger in 2011; and just last year, they wetn and classed things up with a spin on the Chrysler 300. Needless to say, we've been chomping at the bit to find out what they would be rolling out at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, and now that we've gotten our first look at Mopar's 2013 Dodge Dart, we're so excited we're practically drooling on our shirts.
As far as the exterior goes, the Mopar 2013 Dart comes with gloss black 18-inch wheels that are complemented by a gloss-black paint job, Mopar blue racing stripes, and a Mopar ground effects kit. As far as the interior goes, expect a blue leather seat for the driver and black leather seats for the passengers, a sport pedal kit, and a black-and-blue trim, among other additions. And as for what's under the hood, you've got a 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged engine that's coupled with a manual transmission.
Still waiting on those powertrain figures, but if all this sounds as good to you as it does to us, then you better act fast because Mopar is only putting out 500 units of their 2013 Dart. And if you're fortunate enough to be one of the 500, Mopar will also hook you up with a personalized license plate and a limited edition sketch of the car from its designer. Not too shabby, eh?
